Many adopted teenagers struggle with issues of identity and attachment, and this struggle can manifest itself in different ways. This assembly looks at the experience of one 12-year-old adopted girl and challenges students to be more supportive and caring towards those with difficult issues.

One reader - ideally a girl, about 12 years old (a female teacher may be used in a boys' school). PowerPoint presentation provided (PP) with drawings by writer's adopted daughter; show PP1 as students enter.
